OSCAR AWARDS 2011 nominations were announced on Tuesday, January 25 at Beverly Hills, California by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak and 2009 Oscar winner Mo'Nique.
In the the 83rd Academy Awards nominations "The King's Speech" dominated with 12 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, while "True Grit" galloped close behind with a healthy 10 nominations.
The Indian music maestro A R Rahman who won two Oscar Award in 2009 for Danny Boyle’s film Slumdog Millionaire, got two nominations in Oscar for his work in another Danny Boyle’s movie 127 hours.
The 83rd Annual Academy Awards will be presented at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center on Sunday, February 27, 2011. James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host the Oscar Awards 2011.
